Dr Moopen did his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1981. Since then he had gained many additional qualifications. He has master's degrees in Orthodontics (MSc Orth, Lond) & Paediatric Dentistry (MDS Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research Changigath, India) Has additional qualifications include BDSRCS (Edin). He is on the Specialist List of Orthodontics, General Dental Council. He was former professor & head of Dept. of child Dental Health in Mangalore University, India. He is a member of British Dental Association, British Orthodontic Association, European Orthodontic Society, American Association of Orthodontists and Federation of Orthodontics. He has undertaken many courses in lingual appliances and is familiar with all the different types of appliances such as Begg, Straight Wire, Tip-Edge, Self-Ligating, Lingual and the use of bone anchorage.
Dr Moopen has special interests in:-
Fixed appliance and functional appliance treatment in children periodontally involved cases which requires orthodontic intervention. Interdisciplinary orthodontics involving Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, Lingual Orthodontics (Invisible braces incognito), Mini Screw Anchorage, Surgical Orthodontics, Adult Orthodontics, Impacted Canines. He undertakes treatment of all types of malocclusions under NHS and Private care. Adult orthontic cases are undertaken privately.

Graduated B.D.S. University of London in 1968 and then gained her Dip.Orth. in 1977 and MScD University of Wales in 1978. Liz then went on to lecture at the Birmingham Dental School until setting up Malvern Orthodontics in 1984.
Liz has been actively involved in orthodontic politics for many years and is currently chairman of the Orthodontic Specialists Group of the British Orthodontic Society. Liz is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Graduated B.D.S. Birmingham in 1995 and then gained her M.F.G.D.P. UK in 2001. Shabneez has worked at Malvern Orthodontics since 1996.
Graduated B.D.S. Birmingham 1992 and then gained her M.F.G.D.P UK in 1996. Julie joined the team in 2004.
In addition to their orthodontic skills, Dr Mehrali and Dr Williams are both experienced general dental practitioners who specialise in the latest cosmetic dentistry techniques. They can therefore advise our patients on these aspects of their treatment when this is required in conjunction with orthodontic treatment.

We have an excellent team of nurses and receptionists, all of whom are fully trained. All our nurses are accredited and are members of the national Association of Dental Nurses.
The team is very successfully headed up by Jane Metcalf, our Practice manager.
All our staff are trained to the highest level. We all undertake frequent postgraduate training, keeping our knowledge and clinical skills thoroughly up to date in order to ensure the best quality of care for our patients.
