This technique is a relatively new approach to orthodontic treatment and can give you the beautiful straight teeth that you've always wanted, but without having to wear conventional braces that show. It works through a series of nearly undetectable, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing, so you can smile more during your treatment as well as afterwards.
As there are no wire or metal components, treatment is comfortable and as the aligners are removable, you can floss and brush easily, and eat normally.
You can see in advance what your treatment will do! This technique uses the latest advances in 3D computer imaging to predict how your teeth will be moved. Before you sign up for your treatment, we will show you a personalised video of your own teeth, showing exactly how they will be changed during your treatment. Our patients find this is a great way of understanding what their treatment can achieve.
At Malvern Orthodontics, we have undergone the training needed to be certified to provide this treatment. Careful treatment planning is needed to ensure that the aligners are correctly designed, and we have the experience to ensure that your treatment is successful.

How does this technique work?
Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, your orthodontists instructions are translated into a series of custom made aligners. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, moving your teeth gradually week by week, until the desired result has been achieved.
Is it effective?
It works for a wide range of people whose teeth are too crowded or have spaces between them, as well as for those whose teeth may have shifted after having worn braces in their youth.
How often will I have to wear my aligners?
The aligners only work while you are wearing them. It is recommended that you wear your aligners full-time, day and night, except to eat, brush and floss your teeth – or as directed by your orthodontist.
How long does this treatment take?
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of your case, which determines the number of aligners you need. The average treatment duration is approximately 12 months.
How much does it cost?
As with traditional braces, the cost will be based on the complexity of your case and the length of treatment. If you are interested in having treatment your orthodontist will be able to advise you on the costs involved.
